For the second year, the Stratford Youth Centre will host its singing competition Stratford Star. Contestants aged 12 to 18 are sought, male or female, of any skill range to compete to be Stratford's next top youth singer. The deadline for registration is Dec. 13. Registration forms are available at the youth centre. Auditions will be held at the centre Dec. 9 and Dec. 16th. The venue for the actual competition will be the Kiwanis Centre on three consecutive Fridays, Jan. 5, 12 and 19. The finale will be held during Winterfest on Jan. 27 and will feature last year's winner, Emma Hefky.
