Looking for Locally Produced Food?

On Monday, June 25th, Noah’s Inn of Neustadt will host an evening for area residents to meet and talk to local farmers and specialty food producers.  The event begins at 7 p.m.

West Grey and Wellington North are home to a growing number of young farmers who are dedicated to producing high quality, delicious food and drink for the local community.  Two of these farms have been showcased recently in the acclaimed documentary To Make a Farm.

Eleven local farmers will take part in Meet your Local Farmers. Among them are producers of a wide variety of fresh vegetables, herbs, fruits, shiitake mushrooms, grains, beans, eggs, meats, honey, maple syrup, ales, wines and ciders.

The event will include displays and samples of food products along with information about how they are produced and where you can buy them.

Complimentary tea and coffee will be served.

Admission is free.  All are welcome.
