Stratford-based singer/songwriter Pam Gerrand is hosting “Comfort & Joy,” an old-fashioned Christmas Concert and Sing A Long.
The event will be held Saturday, Dec. 15 between 1-4 p.m. at the Knox Presbyterian Church Banquet Hall.
Gerrand will be joined by guest musicians Bill Aitchison, Maggie Foster, King Gabriel Quincy Collymore, and Tara Antler.
There will be a silent auction with items and services offered on the theme of “comfort and joy,” with a special kids’ only silent auction table.
Doors open at 1 p.m. for festive refreshments and silent auction. At 1:30 p.m. there will be an Ethiopian coffee ceremony presented by the Stratford Multicultural Society, and the concert and carol sing begins at 2 p.m.
A portion of the concert proceeds will be donated to the Local Community Food Centre. Tickets are $10 and $5 for seniors/students, with kids under 12 free., and are available in advance at Fanfare books or at the door.
