Wellington North Ringette wrap up season

The Wellington North Ringette Association capped off a successful 2009/2010 season with its annual awards banquet and annual meeting Saturday at the Arthur Legion.All four teams took part in the potluck dinner and awards ceremony. Winners for the Under 19 Ringers are: Most Sportsmanlike – Amy Kirkpatrick, MVP – Julia Epoch, Most Improved – Jessica Stevenson and Hardest Working – Cheyene Lehman. See photos for award winners for the other Under 9, Under 12 and Under 14 teams.The annual meeting saw the election of the new executive with Annette Brunkard taking the reigns as president.Other executive members include: vice president and promotions, Bill Walker; treasurer, Jennifer MacEachern; registrar, Theresa Voisin; secretary, Pam Walker; referee-in-chief, Amy Benn; Ice scheduler, Shawn Showers; equipment managers, Bill Walker Sr. and Gary O'Donnell; coaches liaison, Ray Burns; tournament chair, Kathleen Leith; fundraising committee, Joanne Hoffman, Julie MacEachern, and Naomi Roberts.The association is also accepting registrations for the 2010-2011 season.All new players – regardless of the age group – can play for $125.Other registration fees include: U9, $150; U10, $350; and all other age groups (U12, U14, U16, U19) are $375.Please call Annette Brunkard at 519-848-6402, Bill Walker at 519-323-9409, or Theresa Voisin at 519-848-3609 for more details.And the association is also accepting applications for coaches for the up-coming season.
