Ads for tickets for the Festival's Grand Night for Stratford, which go on sale Monday, should have added, "But don't bother to go and try to buy one" as they will all be sold out within minutes after the box office opens. We are to be gullible enough to believe that they have already sold over 1,600 tickets? This is nonsense, and, of course, they couldn't tell how many tickets were available to go on sale Monday.
I think the general public deserves to know when and how these tickets really went on sale and to whom. Apparently, almost all of the 1,600 tickets had already been scoffed, and we deserve an explanation and clarification of this farce.
