
On Saturday, Perth County OPP officers concluded their investigation into graffiti damage done to the West Perth dam and a businesses within the Mitchell downtown.
A 14-year-old boy has been entered into a Youth Criminal Justice Act diversion program. Police were called on Oct. 16 after the graffiti was found. The markings had been done sometime between Oct. 13-16.
Police remind the public that graffiti is a Criminal Code offence of mischief, and those convicted can be punished with a prison sentence for up to 10 years.
