On Wednesday, Oct. 26, there will be a town hall meeting to discuss the pervasive problem of crystal meth in our community.
Mayor Tony Winter says that the public meeting will feature a police presentation to dispel myths and educate people as to the effects of the drug. As well, a representative from the Perth District Health Unit and local pharmacists will be on hand to answer questions. Mayor Winter hopes that attendees can offer helpful suggestions on dealing with crystal meth that can be passed on to the provincial task force on the drug.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at St. Marys Town Hall, and the public is invited to attend.
