Brazen jewelry store robbery in Stratford

Police are seeking public assistance after a brazen robbery at Paris Jewellers in Festival Marketplace Mall Monday evening.

At about 8:30 p.m.  a man entered the store, smashed the glass counter and scooped out an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
The case contained gold and diamond jewelry.

He then fled the store and exited the mall through a rear entrance, running through the field behind the mall.

Police cordoned off the area but were unable to locate the suspect, who is described as white with a thin build, medium length dirty blond hair, between 25-35 years old.

He was wearing a red long sleeved shirt, khaki shorts, sunglasses, a blue ball cap and was carrying a dark coloured duffel bag.

Anyone with information is asked to call Stratford police or Crime Stoppers.
