MOLESWORTH — Irish spirit reached all the way to Molesworth Thursday as area students hit the lanes for a day of bowling.
More than 40 supervisors and developmentally delayed students from Listowel, Wingham and Palmerston visited Molesworth Bowling Lanes for the 27th annual Paddyfest bowling event.
The invitation-only event includes bowling, lunch and fellowship for all involved.
“They look forward to it all year,” said LDSS teacher Liz Hickling. “It’s a wonderful day to bowl, have fun and be together.”
Molesworth Bowling Lanes owner Brad Matheson donates the use of his facility for the event.
“It’s a good event,” he said. “They enjoy it, it’s cool for them.”
The students were divided into teams and chose their team names, including Irish for the Day, The Lucky Charms, Crazy Girls and Awesome Leprechauns…. Please read more in this weeks Listowel Banner
