First a tea room, now a bakery.
The OPP is asking for the public’s assistance after two businesses on Erin’s main drag have been broken into by unknown suspect(s) within the last week.
Wellington County OPP was called to investigate reports of a break and enter at Holtom’s Bakery on Main Street on last Friday (Feb. 10). The break-in is believed to have occurred sometime between Feb. 7 and 9.
Although the rear door of the bakery was damaged during the incident, police say nothing appears to have been taken.
This is the second time a business on Main Street has been broken into within the last week.
Police were called to investigate after the Tintagels Tea Room on Main Street was broken into sometime overnight last Tuesday (Feb. 7).
Investigators report an unknown suspect(s) entered the tea room through the rear window overnight. The OPP says a small amount of cash was stolen.
