Alarm activated at Mount Forest business

MOUNT FOREST – On Feb. 11 at approximately 2:33 a.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to an alarm call at the Grech Outdoors Gunsmithing Store located on Fergus St. South in Mount Forest.

Investigation revealed that unknown suspects threw a cinderblock block against the window of the overhead garage door in an attempt to gain access to the building. The window was smashed and the alarm activated but entry into the building was not made. Suspects fled the scene when the alarm was activated.
