CW Fusion minor hockey roundup

The Major Atom AA team only had one game last week, playing rivals Burlington.

After a slow start, the Fusion found themselves down 3-0 heading into the third, but fought their way back earning a 3-3 tie.

Christian Linton had a solid performance in net. Points in the game went to: Jakson Kirk (2 goals), Trent Collins (2 assists), Max Hattle (1 goal), Zachary Burt, Caleb Willmets, Zack Hatch, Logan Rayner (1 assist each).

The team had two games on their schedule the previous week.

Their first match was against first place Oakville. The Fusion played hard but fell 5-3. Their next match took them to Milton where they came back for a 2-2 tie. Christian Linton and Tristan Cousineau were both terrific in net throughout the two games.

Points for the week were scored by (goals, assists): Trent Collins (1,2), Jakson Kirk (4 assists), Cam Angst (1,1), Max Hattle, Jarrett Anderson, Caleb Willmets (1 goal each).


Dec. 4 - CW Fusion Novice AA 3 vs. Burlington Eagles 2 in Burlington.

CW scoring by Ryan Oakes 2 goals, Noah Webley 1 goal, Evan Palmer 1 assist, Ryan Rice 1 assist.

Collin MacKenzie gets the win in net.


The Fusion Major Atom AE team played twice last week. travelling to Burlington on Nov. 29, the team kept the game close but it ended in a 5-4 loss for the Fusion squad.

Scoring for the Fusion were Brody Shafer, Cole Chipman, Ethan Kosempel and Seamus Hotson. Assists were added by Carter Hyndman, Ryan Gemin and Lukas Mammoliti.

On Dec. 2 the team was on the road again. Playing in Oakville, the team suffered another loss by a score of 7-2. Scoring for the fusion were Brody Shafer and Carter Hyndman. Assists were added by Ty Needham and Carter Hyndman.
