Ken Lockwood

At Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, Kenneth George Lockwood of Route 1 Bluevale, age 59 years.

Beloved husband of Dilys (Irving) Lockwood. Dear father to Lisa and Jonathan Van Keulen of Hamilton, Aaron Chapman of RR 1 Bluevale and Sara and Peter Neable of Listowel. Grandfather of Rowen and Grady Neable and Kassidy and Lucas Van Keulen.

Brother of Margaret Hogg of Wroxeter and Russell and Joyce Lockwood of Listowel. Uncle of Janet and Charles Hull and Kendra Diemert. Great-uncle of Steven, Brandon, Natasha and Dustin.

Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Winnifred (Davies) Lockwood, his sister-in-law Bonnie Lockwood and brother-in-law Bryan Hogg.

Visitation was at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham on Sunday, Dec. 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Masonic Lodge service was held in the funeral home on Sunday at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral home chapel on Monday, Dec. 24 at 11 am. Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiated. Interment in Wroxeter Cemetery, Howick Township.

Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Helen Stonehouse

At Braemar, Wingham on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, Frances Helen Stonehouse of Belgrave, age 95 years.

The former Helen Edgar, beloved wife of the late Lewis Stonehouse, who predeceased her in 2000. Dear sister of Maitland and Mary Edgar of Petrolia. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great-nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Mabel (Dowse) Edgar, her brothers Arthur (Irlma) Edgar and Harvey (Audrey) Edgar and by sister Winnifred (Charlie) Johnston.

Visitation was at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham on Saturday, Dec. 29 from 1-2 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Tom Murray officiated. Interment in Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave.

Memorial donations to Knox United Church, Belgrave or Wingham and District Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Lloyd Whytock

Lloyd Whytock of Lucknow, beloved husband of Roberta Whytock (Helm), passed away at his residence on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at the age of 80. He was born on Oct. 8, 1932 in Culross Township to the late Ethel (Bannerman) and Alexander Whytock.

Dear father of Jim (Janice) Whytock of Auburn, Janet (Gery) Brandt of Alberta, Donna (Peter) Baker of Cambridge and Darlene (Robin) Keith of Alberta.

Also greatly missed by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and brothers Everett Whytock of Teeswater and Carmen Whytock of Whitechurch.

Predeceased by brother Harold and grandson Adam Keller.

Visitation was held at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Thursday Dec. 27 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service was conducted in the chapel on Friday, Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. with Lynne Wilson officiating. Spring interment in Greenhill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation were greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
