Obituaries – Mount Forest – January 2, 2013

Margaret (Dunnet) Moyer

It is with broken hearts and great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved “Mum,” Margaret Dunnett Moyer, at the West Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville surrounded by her loving family on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at the age of 67 years.

Beloved wife and best friend of 46 years to Larry Moyer.

Loving mother of Annette and Kevin, Jackie and Frank, Louanne and Rob, Lisa, Jerry and fiancé Stacey.

Dear grandmother of Ryan, Brenna, Rachel, Reese, and Lily.

Daughter of the late Bill and Bessy.

Sister of June and Bill, Fiona, and Billy (deceased) and Carol.

Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Marg’s family was a big part of her life. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was known as the dog whisperer to the dogs she adored Healy, Case, and Dozer and also had a place in her heart for horses especially Giblet. She was a dedicated member and treasurer of the Walpole Antique Farm Machinery Association. Mum will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

The family honoured her life with visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main Street South, Hagersville on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and on Friday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said at the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 94 Main Street, South, Hagersville on Saturday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m.

Interment at St Ann’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Walpole.

Jean Neal

Jean Neal passed away after a brief illness at Saugeen Valley Nursing Centre, Mount Forest on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012.

Jean (McLellan) Neal of Mount Forest was in her 86th year.

Beloved wife of the late Ross Neal.

Predeceased by her parents William and Isobel McLellan and brothers Warden, Wilfred and Grant.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.

Memorial donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
