Mr. James Eldon Struthers of Listowel passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at the age of 83.
Beloved husband of Marjorie (Bateman) Struthers. Dear father of Bruce and Marie Struthers of Kitchener, and Ruth Struthers of Listowel, and grandfather of Corey Struthers of Toronto.
Brother of Isabel and Tony Pandur of London, and brother-in-law of Bob Huras and Marj Gabel of Waterloo, Helen and John Coghlin of Listowel, Doris McNeilly of Waterloo, Ursula Bateman of Stratford and Joan Bateman of Ethel.
Predeceased by his sisters Orvilla Fleischauer, Mary Danbrook and Myrtle Huras.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.

Fairlene (Holmes) Logue
July 21, 1938 – Oct. 10, 2012
Ida Fairlene (Holmes) Logue succumbed to cancer while in the gentle and compassionate care of staff and volunteers at Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill, Ont.
Survived by her loving daughter Susan Logue (Dave Lahonen) and grandchildren Davalena and Logan Lahonen, all of Keswick.
Also by her mother Hilda Holmes, residing at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton; her sisters Marjorie (Fred) Palmer of Richmond Hill and Reta Cunningham of Walkerton; nieces and nephews Gary (Laura) Young, Sherry (Jeff) Long, Tambra Breckell, Tracy Hayward (Don Subject), Holly Young (Dennis Mitchell); great-nieces and great-nephews, and good friend Ray Ekstrom. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by members of the Logue family.
Predeceased by her father, Sidney Cecil Holmes and brother-in-law Harold Cunningham.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Laura Lightfoot officiating.
Fairlene’s family sends sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Berger and all the staff at Hill House Hospice for the care given during Fairlene’s final journey, allowing her to pass peacefully and with dignity.
