‘Great chieftain o the puddin’ race!’
A wee bit of a crowd sat down to a traditional haggis meal on Friday night at Knox Presbyterian Church to celebrate Scotland’s favourite son, Robbie Burns.
Along with the meal, the evening included a Ceilidh (kay-lee), or a sing-along, dancing, poetry, and lots of Scottish tradition.
Pictured is John Lyall (centre) reciting the Bard’s ‘Address to a Haggis’, while haggis bearer Kelly Collier, left, and piper Alan Grant look on.
About 125 people attended this year’s feast.
