Will Paddle for Rice -- Final Helping pushes hard to the finish line in its first-round qualifying heat. The team went on to take first place in the 'A' division, being crowned the big winners of the day.
Dragons on the water
The Stratford Rotary Dragon Boat Festival — presented by the Rotary Club of Stratford — attracted thousands to the Avon River Saturday.
Though the races were the focus, the event also included a kids’ area and live entertainment and demonstrations by community groups.
Nearly 70 teams from across Ontario came to participate, including boats filled with breast cancer survivors.
