Guild donates quilt

Mount Forest Confederate

The Four Corners Quilters Guild recently completed a “Bingo” quilt block challenge, and donated the resulting masterpiece to the Kids ‘N Us day care programs and kids clubs in Ayton and Holstein, to be raffled off as a fundraiser for field trips and programs.

Presenting the quilt earlier this month, top from left, were guild members Sarah Frances Durynek, June Wagg and Joanne Alexander. Seated from left, with the little ones at Kids ‘N Us in Holstein, are staff members Ashley Lankin, Mandy Reeves, Darlene Rice and Carol Kuehner.

The quilt, and many others, will be on display at the guild’s massive showcase in Mount Forest on May 3-4.
